Keynote speaker for "Roma Ricerca Roma" symposium: May 17, 2021, 5 p.m. Rome

I’m excited to share the (virtual) stage with actor and director Ascanio Celestini for this gathering dedicated to the topic of creative urban reinvention. “Città conoscenza e creatività” is part of a network of research projects aimed at envisioning and acting on a new socio-cultural model for Rome. Foreign academies like ours, the American Academy in Rome, have long been a part of the city—I look forward to discussing their role moving forward with a panel of the city’s cultural leaders.
