Giovanna Silva in Rome

Read about Milanese architect-photographer Giovanna Silva’s work in Rome, which she carried out and exhibited as an Italian Fellow at the American Academy and installed as part of the Cinque Mostre exhibition. Each day she walked dozens of kilometers across the city, in the company of four local artist-guides (her “sante quattro”), studying its hidden corners. As soon as this epidemic is over, Giovanna will be back in Rome to complete her work, and I’m looking forward to seeing more.
